Katie’s B-day

One of my oldest best friends, Katie Langdon's is having a birthday at the end of December.  While she was in town for turkey day she said she wanted some help planning a birthday party.  She wanted to have a place to have everyone meet out at …like a bar somewhere fun.  She didn't want it somewhere you actually have to rent it out or anything, just something fun.  She would also like to book a room somewhere close by so she can crash out after everyone goes out.  I was thinking it would be cool if there were enough people who wanted to pitch in we could get her a room somewhere. Anyhow, I need some help here guys……  I don't really know where we should take her out?  I think it might be a good plan to have it somewhere in Kansas City so more people can make it out.  I really would like to help her have a good birthday because I didn't get a lot of time to hang out with her while she was in town.  The work/school deal is time consuming… Another thought – if the room idea isn't going to be possible what the hell should I get her for her Birthday?
